“Experts” Wail Over HHS Cuts
Vax Propagandist in Chief Calls It An Invasion.

In line with my stated Substack goals of keeping you informed on the entrenched political, professional, and commercial interests that intend to stand in MAHA’s way, let’s look at Paul Offit, MD today. He is a pediatrician specializing in infectious diseases and a professor of vaccinology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. From Wikipedia we also learn “Offit is a member of the Food and Drug Administration Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee; a board member of Every Child By Two; a founding board member of the Autism Science Foundation; and a former member of the Centers for Disease Control Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.” He has written multiple books, all of which I would categorize as pure propaganda. Over the last 5 years, he has often been seen and quoted in mainstream media as a vaccine expert and proponent. In recent months, he has predicted the onset of a new pandemic starting on Trump’s inauguration day, criticized RFK’s response to the measles outbreak, and bemoaned the efforts to transform the HHS. In a quote from his keynote speech at the American Public Health Association (APHA) panel "Navigating the Vaccine Debate” on April 1st he said "I feel like, in some ways, we've been invaded by a foreign nation ... [whose] interest ... is to destroy public health agencies," adding that the HHS cuts will cause a significant loss of institutional knowledge that could be vital for future public health situations.
Analysis:
I think the best way for me to help you determine the value of Dr. Offit’s opinion is to show you some of the statements he has made in the past.
Dr. Offit and co-authors wrote an article in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, “Addressing Parents’ Concerns: Do Multiple Vaccines Overwhelm or Weaken the Infant’s Immune System?” He was addressing the survey which revealed, even back in 2002, that an increasing number of parents were concerned that infants receive too many vaccines. Implicitly expressed is the concern that an infant’s immune system is inadequately developed to handle vaccines safely or that multiple vaccines may overwhelm the immune system. In the article, he states: “Each infant would have the theoretical capacity to respond to about 10,000 vaccines at any one time”. Just this last week, I read of the reported death of a 1-year-old baby who received 12 different vaccines in 6 injections at the same office visit. Twelve hours later, the baby was dead. Please be aware that it IS the official policy of the American Academy of Pediatrics that children who are “behind” in their vaccination schedule should be “caught up”.
Here are several conclusions he draws in his book Do You Believe in Miracles? First, all positive responses to alternative therapies are the result of the placebo effect, and second, all alternative practitioners are Quacks. The question he avoids addressing in this book is “Why are so many Americans turning away from standard physicians to alternative medicine?”.
During Covid-19 he said ‘Get Vaccinated And You Can Avoid Much Of The Disease Behind COVID”, and “OUR WAY OUT OF THIS PANDEMIC IS TO VACCINATE THE UNVACCINATED. THAT’S IT. There are no good reasons not to get a vaccine”. Right now in 2025 there is not one person who refrained from taking the mRNA injections who regrets the decision.
There has been quite a bit of collusion in the past between governmental, pharmaceutical, and other financial interests to distort, spin, falsify, and cherry pick “the science”. It is now well established that they can and do buy the results they want published, that they promote half truths and outright lies, and that they hide vaccine harms. Even today if you try to Google or search YouTube for Dr Offit, you will find almost nothing except positive, glowing, supportive interviews of him. The media bias, propaganda, and censorship of recent years are still alive. Dr Offit’s career as a vaccine evangelist and propagandist is supported by armies of the ethically and financially compromised. But as many things as Paul Offit has gotten wrong, he has gotten one thing right: “we’ve been invaded”. The ”we” he refers to are the occupants, like him, of the recent past and present in the academic ivory towers, the citadels housing the heads of our compromised and corrupt federal health agencies, and the bastions of many other politically sensitive but ethically impoverished media outlets, medical societies and so called independent patient advocacy organisations like the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, and Offit’s own Autism Science Foundation. They all like how things are with our nation’s ”health” and our disease care model just fine, and do and say everything they can, and spend as much money as necessary to try to keep it the way it is.
As in 1944 on D-day, courageous people like Robert Kennedy Jr, Jay Bhattacharya at NIH, Florida Surgeon General Joe Lapado, and many others are getting out of the landing craft and hitting the beach. It will take time, but they are prepared to take flak and casualties. Their goals of health freedom, transparency and honesty from our government agencies, and building on gold standard science are now understood and supported by a vast majority of Americans. Yes Dr Offit, the battle has been joined. It’s going to be a lot tougher from now on for you and your friends to stay comfortable there in your fortresses built on lies. The truth is coming your way, and it’s going to hurt.
